This short story is about what happens when you have no place to go and there is no remedy to being stuck. Our pre internet brains are hard to fathom now that we can gather information from around the world before even getting out of bed, and a phone-free meal with loved ones is hard to come by. There is a loss of connection and we feel it. This short story is based entirely on the dialogue of a newly married couple in quarantine, who's banal banter illustrates the slow and steady journey toward restored intimacy.
