WORK FOR THE LIBERTY
CIRO DI FIORE (DANIEL) (ITALY)
Cardboard, printed transparent paper, plastic shiny adhesives, rubber adhesives, jewellery collage
30 x 45 cm
2020
The shape of this artwork is taken from the ‘The Mole Antonelliana’, a major building in Turin, Italy. This work shows that my work is changing in this uncertain time, and artist’s work in general is changing. Maybe things will continue to change or continue to decline before they get better or get back to normal. Aside from the creativity, the smiles of the people on balconies and in windows give us the hope that we will be liberated from the quarantine of COVID-19.
