WINDOWS OF THE WORLD (STILLS)

Lately, I am sharply aware of others in the world, both near and far. As I stare out my window I imagine I can glimpse, across vast distances, figures looking back at me from their own windows. I see their fears so like my own and I raise my hand and wave hello; a small gesture of acknowledgement and greeting. Behind these glass shapes we wait, but we are not idle. We watch but we are not blind. One day soon, we will move together from the window to the door.
